This poem is a general comparison between 2 people.
A normal college going youth who has sufficient pocket money, fun, happiness, friends etc in life and the poor child who knows nothing other than hunting for food because his stomach is empty almost all the time and in such a situation, any human would think of nothing other than food!
When a youth goes to a restaurant with friends and if the bill says 490/-, he just keeps a 500/- note and walks away considering that the 10/- would be a tip for the waiter.
But for this poor child, the same 10/- would fetch him food for the first time that day.
When a person decided to buy shoes, he walks around a big mall 10 times to find the right design and color,
but for this poor child, shoe is just a protection for his feet where he walks around.
A person generally has a lot of entertainment like laptops etc but this kid just plays with stray dog's on road all day and then walks to the garbage to find broken used toys!
A person has a lot in life, many celebrations, a lot of festivals etc but all this poor child has is, hunting for food and when he doesn't get food, start crying and that way he would just go to sleep after a while.
A person learns a lot of things as he grows up.. to hang out with friends, to spend money, to laugh out loud
but the poor child just learn to beg and then stay hungry.
For this child, every day is just the same.
Today he begged and ate, his tomorrow is still the same.,
On top of facing such situations, he still lives his life and never thinks of dying or leaving this world,
but we, inspite of having everything in life, we still sulk and crave for things others have!
